Our Voice in Activism

Second Harvest

With our theme of Casting a Wider Circle: Our Voice in Activism, we have decided to select two local non-profit organizations to help.

The Second Harvest Food Bank aims to end hunger by providing food access, advocacy, education, and disaster response to south Louisiana. They need non-perishable food items and volunteers to prepare children's meals in their Community Kitchen.

Love a Pit

The Love a Pit Foundation is a local animal rescue organization who provides rehabilitation and rehoming services for abandoned, abused, and neglected animals. Since they are an all-volunteer organization, foster homes and monetary donations are always needed. Love a Pit will be joining us at Pagan Pride Day with adoptable dogs and collecting donations of sturdy dog toys (e.g., Nylabones, Kongs) and pet supply gift cards.

Be sure to lend a helping hand!
