Ostara Ritual In the Park Mar 23, 2024!

Join us for an afternoon of community, ritual, and celebration of growth! Greater New Orleans Pagan Pride welcomes you to the Ostara event in conjunction with the Torch on March 23rd! In addition the ritual the Torch will be hosting games and an egg hunt. The event begins on March 23 at 1 pm at the Butler Fountain in City Park, across from Ralph’s on the Park. Bring family, friends, and an offering of the abundance of spring for our Ostara altar. The weather should be wonderful, so BYOP (Bring Your Own Picnic)! Ritual will begin at 2 pm. Egg hunt will follow and is open to children and adults of all ages! GNOPP will offer a cordial (possibly wildflower) with Prosecco by donation.

Schedule

1:00 Arrival, greetings and drumming. Making seed balls, etc.

2:00 — Ritual with participatory chanting, drumming and seed ball consecration.

2:30 - Games followed by egg hunt.

3:00+ - Until end of event. Socialization and Picnics.
